My method is mostly about putting new vocabs and grammar into speaking practice - I am more than sure that it's the best way to start feeling the language. We can focus on grammar explanations too - expecially when it comes to Russian.

I mostly concentrate on the topics you're interested in, highlighting the points to polish during our conversations.
