As a beginner I 1000% recommend! :) My 2nd Trial Class after joining iTalki and did a full lesson right after the trail lesson. I am very happy to have found Ryoma-せんせい profile. The class was very interesting & interactive too, he was patient and very helpful in explaining. I really appreciate his effort of typing out the notes in English and in Hiragana too. :) Very useful, in that one hour I was able to pick up some basics. I had a great first lesson with Ryoma-san! Right from the start, he was very kind and friendly, which made it easy to converse in Japanese for the whole lesson. To prepare for my upcoming time in Kansai, Ryoma-san taught me some useful phrases and vocabulary in Kansai-ben and compared them to their hyōjungo equivalents, which I thought was an effective way to leverage my existing knowledge. The hour-long conversation felt like it went by quickly, so I'm looking forward to taking more lessons!
