Hello! I’m Mayuko. 🌸
I’m a friendly and patient Japanese teacher with over 10 years of teaching experience.
In my lessons, I focus on helping you express what you want to say — not just memorizing phrases from a textbook.
You’ll learn through lots of natural conversation and original worksheets that make grammar easy to understand.
For children, I use fun and interactive materials I’ve created myself.

I currently work at a junior high school, teaching students who have recently come from other countries.
I also taught in Brazil for two years, working with learners from children to adults. In Japan, I’ve taught various subjects at elementary schools and have experience in special support classes.
I’ve studied and practiced how to support children with developmental disabilities and different learning needs.

In my lessons, I use Minna no Nihongo for junior high school students and adults.
Instead of just following the textbook, you will learn with original worksheets that I’ve created to make each topic easy to understand.
For children, I use my own original teaching materials designed to be fun and clear, based on their age and interests.
In my lessons, I value helping students express what they really want to say, rather than just repeating phrases.
