Hallo allemal ! Mijn naam is Kenji Van Der Louw !! :)
I am 26 years old, bilingual and philosophy student. My mother is French and my father is Dutch, quite an amazing mix if you ask me, because they created me, of course! I am born and raised in Grenoble France, where my family lives.
Fun fact, I can fart with multiple parts of my body and when I was a little kid I used to chew my fingers during sleep. Yes, it is weird, but well, it is true. Now you know you can be authentic around me too.Che tipo di insegnante sono
I grew up talking French and Dutch at home, as my parents speak both French and Dutch. I loooooove Dutch so much, and I would loooooove to share the joy of speaking this language and its culture with you.
I'm sure there is so much you don't know, and there is so much I would love to share, perfect match.
I have experience in teaching a language as counsellor in a summer camp immersion in Canada. Although it was for french language immersion, I can apply the same techniques in this amazing online context too. Le mie lezioni e il mio metodo di insegnamento
My teaching style is full immersion. I believe that it is the best way to learn a language. I will mime, go slow, repeat multiple times and share with you useful material for progress. We will have basic and more advanced conversations. We will analyse cultural videos, and interesting topics.
If you see how babies learn a language it is with full immersion. If you are new to a language you will probably feel like a baby again, full immersion and taking our time to try, try and try again.
Do you judge a new born baby for not knowing how to walk? No, you will encourage her to try and make mistakes. So, be kind to yourself, and your own personal progress. I know I will too with you.Il mio materiale didattico

He also corrects you when needed.
He can use supports like videos and talk about it and give opinions.

Kenji est un super professeur, attentif aux besoins de son élève.
Il est calme, à l’écoute et patient. Il permet d’apprendre à son rythme, ce qui met en confiance.

Kenji is a wonderful teacher! I was looking for someone I can easily talk to on different topics, have great and deep conversations in order to improve my speaking skills in Dutch. He is exactly the one who can give me all of it! Besides, he is incredibly kind, a great listener, very patient and calm. I am certainly grateful and happy to have him as my Dutch teacher🙏✨
