Namaskaaram! I’m Akhila from Kerala, Trivandrum—a hospitality graduate turned Tribal Resort Manager in Eastern India, where I empower indigenous communities through English and sustainable International tourism. With my 5+ years of teaching experience to students of ages 3 to 80, I could blend my hotel industry expertise with a passion for cultural exchange. I enjoy gaming on my PS4, cooking, and dancing. I specialize in making English/Malayalam *fun* and stress-free—whether you’re prepping for travel, business, or casual chats. Let’s learn at *your* pace but with fun. I have been taking English tuition for many students aging from 3-80 from all over the world, through online platforms for almost 5 years now. Most of my students are from Japan and Korea. Since I'm from a hospitality background and having ample experience teaching and interacting with Tribal communities, I can adjust very well with people of all sorts and make them feel comfortable. I can't wait to get to know you and hear your story. I will be preparing tailored lesson materials for my students according to their need and requirements. Thanks so much for the lesson, it was fun! A lot of new words learned from context, a lot of cultural insights. Akhila is great at meeting my expectations as a learner - I asked her not to use English in class so she is using proper Malayalam, explaining the new words to me with easier ones, but staying in Malaylam - for full immersion - just what I need :) She also is a very open person which is super helpful when you don't only want to learn a language but also the culture. Looking forward to our next class!
