I am a professional teacher. I am patient, caring and empathetic. I am fluent in Portuguese, English and Italian. I lived in Italy for 5 years and since 2007 I have been living in Belfast in Northern Ireland. I have been teaching English, Italian and Portuguese for over 30 years. I have had students from all walks of life, different nationalities, age groups and all levels. I plan my lessons based on the student’s learning style. I have a BA in Modern Languages - Teaching Qualification as well as CTEFL – Certificate of Teaching English as a foreign language.

Cintia is an absolutely fantastic teacher. Incredibly patient, generous and offers lots of opportunities to practice. She provides homework if required and will help you with any questions you have. I have been studying with Cintía for over a year now, doing private Italian lessons. In that time, I have averaged roughly 1 lesson per week, each lesson being 1 hour. Since starting to work with Cintía I have gone from a complete beginner in the language with no prior knowledge to being able to carry out conversations and enjoy Italian content such as podcasts and films. Cintía is a very professional and capable instructor. I am always being provided with feedback, lesson plans, homework, and encouragement. I would highly recommend her to any student looking to learn any of the several languages she is highly skilled in.
