Relaxed and fun Welsh lessons from a meditation teacher! Shwmae! I'm Sion, a Welsh tutor born and raised in Wales, with a deep love for the language and a genuine passion for sharing it. I've worked professionally with Welsh throughout my career — including with S4C, Wales' national Welsh-language broadcaster, and creating subtitles for Welsh-language TV. This gives me a strong ear for natural, everyday Welsh alongside solid grammar and spelling knowledge. I teach conversational Welsh using real-life scenarios, practical phrases, and listening practice — the kind of Welsh that actually gets you speaking with confidence. My approach is patient, encouraging, and fully tailored to you, whether you're a complete beginner or working towards fluency. Beyond language, I bring a calm, grounded energy to every lesson — I'm also a mindfulness teacher and yoga instructor, so you'll always feel at ease, never under pressure. I've now completed ten lessons with Siôn. He has an excellent ear for the language and tremendous amount of patience. I've really been enjoying his methods of teaching grammar through constructing sentences and I look forward to further such lessons in the future.
