I've had two conversation sessions with Wakako sensei so far, and am looking forward to future conversations. I have been preparing for a trip to Japan and while I can read enough to navigate without much difficulty, listening and active recall conversations have still been a challenge. Wakako sensei has been very helpful tailoring her conversation topics to my skill level while boosting my speaking confidence. I am already more confident with the prospect of having everyday conversations with people while traveling. Thank you!

Another fun lesson! Wakako always makes me feel comfortable speaking freely without worrying about mistakes. Talking with her helped me realise that I can express much more than I originally thought.

Wakako-sensei was very patient and understood most of my broken Japanese while helping me build correct sentences. The 45 minutes were used mostly chatting about everyday life subjects, like you would with a friend. Wakako is very enthusiastic and never runs out of topics to chat about. She also wrote a corrected version of what I said in the chat for future reference. Looking forward to our next lesson!
