I am an open-minded, certified, and passionate teacher with more than 10 years of experience teaching in China and abroad. I worked at a private high school in Australia for a year, and I graduated from the University of Queensland.
My students come from all over the world and have varying levels of proficiency. My classes cover a wide range of topics, including daily conversation, travel, education, economics, global issues, and more. You can also explore Chinese idioms and literature with me.

My classes focus on improving students’ speaking skills, as most learners aim to communicate effectively in Chinese. I use Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) and Task-Based Language Teaching (TBLT) methods to guide our lessons.
Besides language learning, I love exploring a variety of topics with my students, from Chinese culture and world culture to literature, history, and beyond. Another great lesson with Clover. This time we talked about food and cooking, which was a really fun topic as we were able to compare cooking styles between different countries. Clover is always patient and friendly, and corrects you gently without disrupting the flow of the conversation. Thank you as always, Clover!
