I have been learning Chinese with Gin for a whole year now and it has been an excellent experience. She is good at explaining the intricacies of the Chinese language and making sure you can follow the logic of it all. She's patient and diligent where more care is needed, but will also speed up when she sees that you got the hang of a concept and uses her learning materials flexibly this way. She is always on time, has great learning materials and is generally very reliable. I have not once had to ask for any of the 122 slide decks that have accumulated thus far. I can highly recommend choosing Gin as your teacher!

Gin is an excellent teacher, so much so that I was referred to her by a family member and have since recommended her to many other people! She is very encouraging and supportive. Additionally Gin always comes so well prepared to the classes with lessons backed by HSK content and gives a great summary and shares slides after every lesson. I really appreciate how much effort Gin puts into the classes and how personalised the classes are. I have definitely felt my Chinese reach new levels in speaking, reading and understanding and therefore can definitely recommend Gin as a teacher to anyone interested in learning Chinese!

Gin is an excellent teacher! Her lessons have been so well-structured and well-paced - which has been very helpful for me as a complete beginner. I really appreciate her patience and emphasis on repetition & pronunciation - I feel like I am learning a lot with every lesson and progressing slowly but surely. Highly recommend!

Gin was very patient and explained everything clearly, she went over greetings and pronunciation, explaining some of the basic consonant and vowel sounds. She was encouraging and friendly, I enjoyed the lesson.

I feel like I definitely won the lottery with Gin! She's such a passionate, dedicated teacher, and every lesson with her just ends too quickly! She explains every word and phrase, always gives examples, and corrects my pronunciation when needed. I can feel Gin is very experienced and professional, but at the same time very caring and adjusts the class to suit my level. She makes sure to send all the materials after class with a good word on my progress, which really makes me feel that she is paying attention to detail :) I cannot recommend Gin enough and am truly excited to continue our studies together :)
