Miguel did an outstanding job training me for the DELE exam. Obviously, the most important thing he did was to teach me Spanish, but he also helped familiarize me with format of the exam. The DELE exam can be confusing if you aren't prepared. Miguel not only helped me work through official practice exams, but went above and beyond by creating new material in the same format with topics he knew I was interested in. I felt as confident as I possibly could have going in to the exam.

I’ve really enjoyed learning Portuguese with Miguel. As an English speaker with a little background in Spanish, I’ve found his teaching especially helpful because he knows exactly where the Spanish and Portuguese overlap and where they differ, and he can explain in English. He helps me avoid common mistakes and focus on the areas that need extra attention. Lessons are clear, patient, and engaging, with plenty of cultural context that makes learning enjoyable. I’ve gained confidence in reading, speaking and listening, and I highly recommend Miguel to anyone wanting to make real progress in Portuguese.
