I am Dimitra, I come from Greece, but I lived in the UK and Germany for many years as part of my studies. I love learning foreign languages and immersing myself in new cultures and I would like to help you learn my language as other people have helped me learn theirs! I love asking questions, getting to know people and trying for natural conversation, as I would have with a friend, but I can also provide a more structured class if you would like that. I try to motivate and help students express themselves in Greek. Furthermore, I have a passion for etymology and might spend some time explaining the roots and family trees of some words. We can play vocabulary and grammar games, I would love to get to know you and help you become highly articulate in Greek. I can share with you my favourite resources such as music, series, films and books and we can go through them together. Dimitra is awesome! She always has some interesting commentary or feedback and this helps me remember vocab and rules much better. I really like our lessons:)

Dimitra's lessons are always rich and varied. She's well-versed in complex Greek grammar, has a keen taste in music, and always shares examples from local songs. I really like that!
