I am from the San Francisco Bay Area but currently living in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I attended San Francisco State University and graduated with a Bachelors in Political Science. I love humanities and because of this, the English language as a form of communication is a field I am a master in. I am also applying to go to graduate school in international relations and because of this I am an excellent listener of other cultures and the perspectives of non Americans making me your ideal English teacher when it comes to conversation and other forms of communication.Che tipo di insegnante sono
In my time in working with adolescents who had learning disabilities , I developed a patient and amicable attitude with students. My father, who only spoke Spanish when I was growing up, learned English from me and because of this, being a teacher is a skill I have been developing since I was a child. I have a history of building excellent rapport with students that makes them feel comfortable to ask me questions and this ranges from adolescents to students in their 50s.Le mie lezioni e il mio metodo di insegnamento
I put my students first and try to provide them a lesson that feels both useful and understandable to use in their own lives. Because of this, I also ask students how the first lessons feel in terms of pace and clarity. I elicit answers from students and try to use their own English speaking experience to fill in the gaps of questions related to conjugation, vocabulary, and functional language. As mentioned before, my interest in other cultures and people's perspectives also engages me as an individual who show genuine interest in my students' thoughts and when it is expressed in the English language, I am able to provide helpful feedback to both improve and praise my students' understandingIl mio materiale didattico
