Greetings!
My name is David, but you can call me Dave.
I am originally from Birmingham in the United Kingdom. Now I am living in The Philippines, which has the same time zone as China.
I am a professional English teacher with 30+ years of teaching experience.
My specialty is teaching IELTS Speaking.
I want to help all my students achieve their dream band score, the band score that they fully deserve.
For seven years, I was an IELTS examiner in Beijing and Shenyang. I have helped hundreds of students to achieve THEIR BEST BAND SCORE.

I’ve just had a mock IELTS test with Dave, a former IELTS examiner. He is a very professional teacher and clearly extremely knowledgeable about the IELTS exam.
The session felt very authentic and closely resembled the real test. Dave provided clear, precise feedback and explained exactly how examiners assess performance, highlighting specific areas to improve.

I had 3 speaking sessions with Dave and I would say that all of it were enjoyable. During the first session he had some technical issues with his camera but he extended the lesson to make up for the lost time. He gave me tips on some vocabularies that were more appropriate to use in a sentence! Happy to share that I got a C1 score for IELTS speaking!
