•Linguistic background: My major was English literature and linguistics. So I know what methods are effective for learning. I will share tips that helped in my studies.
•Linguistic empathy : With a background in linguistics and experience studying English, Spanish, French, and Korean, I have a deep understanding of how different languages work. While I mainly teach in Japanese and English, my knowledge of these languages helps me understand the specific challenges you face based on your native grammar!

In our first class we’ll start by getting to know each other! I want to hear about your life, your interests, and your motivation for learning Japanese. Together, we will set clear goals so you always know exactly what you are working toward.
