Hi! I’m Anita from Latvia. I speak Latvian and Russian fluently, and I’ve been living in the UK for many years, so I also speak good English. I’m a Community Tutor offering friendly conversation practice in Latvian and Russian. I have a background in education with a degree in preschool and primary teaching, but my sessions are relaxed and informal. We can chat about everyday topics, hobbies, or anything you like. I'm a friendly and patient tutor who offers relaxed conversation lessons in Latvian and Russian. My goal is to help you feel confident speaking, whether you're just starting or want to keep practicing. We can talk about everyday topics, travel, culture, or anything that interests you. My lessons are easygoing and flexible. I focus on speaking and listening, so you can feel more confident using Latvian or Russian in real situations. We’ll have relaxed conversations based on your interests — like daily life, hobbies, travel, or anything else you enjoy. I always aim to create a comfortable space where you can learn without pressure. Lessons are adjusted to your level and goals.
My goal is to help you speak more confidently and naturally in a supportive environment.

Thank you Anita for a wonderful and special conversation experience. I loved your exercise with the emotions. Latvian is a very difficult language for an English speaker and you helped me begin to navigate Latvian conversation. You are a very flexible and caring teacher and very patient and fun.
