Trained journalist by background, with more than ten years of professional editing experience. I've taught 3,000+ classes on italki to working professionals, university students, immigrants, and serious independent learners. Qualified Specialist in both Business English and Test Preparation. Most of my work is spoken English coaching: conversation, fluency, pronunciation, presentations, meetings, interviews, and accent. I also coach IELTS, TOEFL, and Cambridge English candidates. Neutral American accent. Levels A2 through C2. What makes the work different: after every class, I send you a personalized review document. Built from what we worked on, your level, your goals, and your real interests — vocabulary in context, exercises on your specific patterns, examples from your life. This is the editorial work most learners never actually get. Adults only. Based in Mexico. I have been taking classes with Nick for a month, and although I don’t have much time to dedicate to it, I feel like I’m really improving. I enjoy my lessons with Nick. We talk and discuss interesting topics. Nick is a very calm, kind, and knowledgeable person. He also has a lesson plan with an interesting topic, including exercises, reading, listening, and sometimes grammar. I really like my lessons with Nick and recommend him.
