Zwee

I had a great class! Teacher Zwee was very passionate about teaching Hokkien and was patient in helping me understand. There were class materials provided and I was able to connect the dots because of his teaching. I already feel like I learned a lot in our lesson! Thank you!

Teacher Zwee helped to review previous lesson materials as well as go over the tones. What was super helpful was the color coordination of the sentences because sentence structure in Hokkien differs from English, so this aided in organizing the vocabulary in a way that was visually accommodating.

Zwee is very approachable, friendly, and organized teacher — highly recommend!

Teacher Zwee patiently helped with the 7 tones of hokkien! Basic expressions “ho liao!” were learned in this lesson and I am excited to share my progress with my Hokkien-speaking relatives :)

Teaching can be improved, some background noise. But I think this is ok for foundational learning or pronunciations. I’m not sure if possible but maybe we can use pinyin? For consistent pronunciation that I can use and remember? It’s hard to remember tones when using plain english letters.
