Hi! I’m Juliane, a native German speaker, currently living in Costa Rica.
I’m 30 years old, passionate about languages and teaching. Right now I'm learning Spanish, so I know exactly what it feels like to step out of your comfort zone and how important it is to be supported and motivated along the way.
As a medical graduate in Germany, I also offer specialized preparation for the FSP / FaMed medical language exam, helping doctors improve doctor–patient communication, case presentations, and medical documentation.

My teaching approach is friendly, patient, and fully tailored to your level and interests - whether you’re a complete beginner, intermediate or advanced.
In our lessons, we can focus on:
• Conversation and pronunciation
• Grammar and vocabulary
• Reading/listening comprehension
• Everyday German or specific goals (e.g. travel, work, exams)

I’ll help you build confidence and enjoy the process of learning German. I love working with people from different cultures and always create a positive and supportive learning atmosphere.
If a student is late, I will wait as follows: 45min class - up to 15mins., 60min class - up to 20mins., trial lesson/ 30min class - up to 10mins.
Cancellation: ≥ 8hrs before the lesson - full refund or free rescheduling, 6–8hrs - 50%, 4–6hrs - 25% refund, < 4hrs - unfortunately, no refund can be given. Ich nehme bei Juliane Unterricht zur Vorbereitung auf die FSP und ich kann sie wirklich von ganzem Herzen weiterempfehlen! Sie war in diesem Prozess eine unglaublich große Unterstützung für mich.
Der Unterricht ist sehr strukturiert und gut organisiert. Wir arbeiten alle Themen systematisch durch und besprechen wirklich jedes Detail. Besonders hilfreich finde ich, dass wir gemeinsam alle möglichen Fragen und Situationen simulieren, die in der FSP vorkommen können. Dadurch fühle ich mich deutlich sicherer und besser vorbereitet.
Juliane ist nicht nur fachlich sehr kompetent, sondern auch sehr unterstützend und motivierend. Der Unterricht ist äußerst effizient und produktiv. Man merkt, dass sie viel Erfahrung mit der Prüfungsvorbereitung hat und genau weiß, worauf es ankommt.
Dank ihrer Hilfe habe ich großes Vertrauen in meine Vorbereitung gewonnen. Ich bin ihr sehr dankbar für ihre Unterstützung!!!❤️❤️❤️

Lo que más me gusto es que la profesora Juliane es abierta a adaptarse a las necesidades del estudiante, usa ejercicios sencillos pero efectivos y mantiene una conversación interesante alrededor de los temas tratados.

I have had several lessons with Juliane, and each one has been excellent. She is very smart and interesting to talk to. There is always something to discuss. She is sincere, and I feel she truly wants to help me improve. She blends natural conversation with focused learning and keeps me speaking. Time flies with her. One hour feels like half an hour, so I recommend booking two hours in a row ⏱️. Warm, attentive, and motivating. I highly recommend booking lessons with Juliane.

Ich habe Juliane wenige Wochen vor meiner FSP-Prüfung kennengelernt und sie hat meine Vorbereitung unglaublich verbessert.
Erklärungen, Simulationen und Fragen: Sie ist unglaublich gut vorbereitet und bereit, mir bei allen Fragen und Anliegen zu helfen. Flexibel und immer verfügbar, hat sie mir nicht nur sprachlich, sondern auch bei der theoretischen Vorbereitung geholfen.
Immer ermutigend, sympathisch und unterstützend, hat mir jede Unterrichtsstunde etwas Wichtiges gebracht.
Wenn ich noch einmal von vorne anfangen könnte, würde ich sie vom ersten Tag an kontaktieren!
