Hi I'm Ryota.
I was born in Japan and grew up in Osaka then move to Tokyo when I graduated university.
Recently I have changed my career to be a Japanese teacher from working at Japanese company as a sales & marketing for 10 years.
I used to live in Netherlands ,Singapore and Malaysia and met many people interested in Japan. That is the reason why I became a Japanese teacher !!Che tipo di insegnante sono
I'm certified Japanese teacher and I have been teaching Japanese since 2009 on italki. I always enjoy teaching and seeing my students improve their Japanese.
I am a teacher but I have been studying English and Spanish so I fully understand the difficulty to learn other languages.
As I have lived in Tokyo for about 10 years I speak standard Japanese other than Kansai dialect ( 関西弁）.
I also speak English and Spanish other than Japanese.

- Our goal is not just to increase your grammar knowledge or sentence patterns. We focus on actual communication in "real-life" situations. - if you have preferred book please let me know.

- Through the lesson you can learn new vocabulary, expressions, grammar points and also Japanese culture and customs.

- Reading and writing assignments can be provided based on students requests.

Ryota was really fun to talk to. He also does his best to think of studying methods that suit your language level. I learned a lot of new things just from my first lesson with him. Additionally, I really liked his calm personality - it helped to create an atmosphere where I could talk comfortably and be myself. Surprisingly, I think this can be pretty rare in a teacher, so recommend his lessons.
