Hi! My name is Marloes, I’m from the Netherlands, and I currently live in Mexico. I speak Dutch, English, Spanish, and I’m learning a bit of Portuguese. Before becoming a language teacher, I worked for over 11 years in education and as the director of an NGO focused on social inclusion and non-discrimination. I love meeting people from around the world, exploring cultures, and helping others feel confident communicating in a new language. I’m a native Dutch speaker with a neutral accent (standard Dutch). I’ve taught both children and adults on topics such as communication and diversity, and I enjoy creating my own materials to keep lessons fun and meaningful. I hold a Master’s degree in Criminology, a Bachelor’s in Cultural Anthropology, and a Professional Coaching Diploma, all of which help me support my students’ learning process with patience and structure. My approach is motivating, supportive, and personalized. You’ll feel comfortable exploring the language with me and steadily build your confidence over time. My lessons are active, goal-oriented, and fully adapted to your needs. Whether you want to speak Dutch more naturally, improve your writing, prepare for studies or work, or simply understand the language better, we’ll focus on what matters most to you.
