This was my third lesson with Yuka Sensei, and I really loved all of them. She does a great mix of free "smalltalk" and guided talk centered around a grammar point, without it feeling like an excercise. She is good at explaining and gently correcting mistakes I make with words. I am already looking forward to my next lesson next week. :)

Yuka is a great teacher, especially if you are a complete beginner. She does not have a problem taking the lesson at your pace or repeating herself for you. I have taken another good lesson with her and though I am very new to Japanese, she knows a lot about the language beyond just being a native speaker so I recommend her for learners at any level.

I really enjoy the lessons with yuka-san. She speaks easy japanese so that i can understand it well. And if i dont, she explains it in a simple way. She also writes down the words or expressions that i dont know or find difficult. And asks interesting questions. Its just fun to talk with her! Definitely recommend 👍🏻

Had other fun lesson with Yuka-san! I really like that Yuka-san matches your learning speed and supports you throughout. It’s a comfortable environment to learn and make mistakes.

Classes with Yuka are always enjoyable and I feel like I make progress during our lessons without being stressed! New topics don't feel overwhelming to cover and our free talk conversations make incorporating the new material practical and a good place to ask any questions I still have :)

First lesson with Yuka is very enjoyable. I’m beginner to Japanese but Yuka made me feel comfortable enough to speak!
