This is my full-time job.
My experience comes exclusively from what I have done on Italki. I have no specific teaching training and I am not certified as a teacher of Italian.
Perhaps one positive quality of mine is that being a mediocre student in any subject, and particularly in language learning, makes me an empathic teacher.
Please, note that during sessions, even if I do not write notes for you, I always write them for myself; on Italki, I have met two people for whom this created some sort of problem: before booking your first session with me, please, make sure you have no objections to this. A first activity that you can do with me is conversation practice, which, depending on your needs and preferences, can take on very different connotations.
Your interest for the topics is essential; for this reason it is only you who choose them.
Other areas in which I have experience and can help you are discussing grammar and preparing for exams, including CELI and CILS certifications.
The last activity, that requires specific booking, is “Problem solving through comprehensible input”.

I love talking to Giordano. He's very patient and makes me feel comfortable talking even if I make mistakes. He gives me time to think about words I forget, and if I don't know something, he helps me with examples. He gives me ideas, and I always learn something new. I highly recommend him.

Giordano è una persona molto curiosa ed analitica. Durante le lezione mi ascolta sempre con grande attenzione e molta pazienzia, creando un ambiente in cui mi sento libera di esprimermi e di fare domande. Corregge con gentilezza la mia pronuncia, spiegandomi con chiarezza le regole grammaticali.
