Hi everyone! I’m Yujin, a Korean teacher, now living in the Netherlands. I’ve always loved meeting people from different backgrounds and sharing my language and culture. In Korea, I've met many international friends who wanted to learn Korean. Now, I also teach my Dutch partner Korean, so I deeply understand the joys and struggles that come with learning a new language.
As a teacher, I want to be someone who makes you feel comfortable, encouraged, and cared for, just like a friend, but also someone you can trust to guide you with structure and clear feedback. I’ve guided many international friends who were interested in Korean language and culture, both in Korea and abroad. These experiences taught me that every learner has their own pace, interests, and motivation. Because of that, I focus on helping each student grow through warm encouragement and consistent feedback.
I first started teaching Korean informally, but those experiences taught me how to make learning more natural, enjoyable, and personalized. My goal is to make you feel supported and confident, so you can enjoy learning without pressure.

I offer two types of classes, please read each lesson's explanation carefully.✨
One key tool in my lessons is a practice notebook, where you can review what you’ve learned, complete various tasks, such as short writing, and receive personalized feedback. This system helps you stay consistent and truly see your progress.

Nice to meet you 유진 선생님. I haven't studied Korean for quite a while, so my pronunciation and listening skills have started to deteriorate. Nonetheless, truly appreciate your patience and the overall conversation was still really fun. Also since you are new to Italki, I'm confident that you will enjoy teaching more students on the platform.
