Damien Canessa

A great lesson with Damien. We talked about sports in Europe and the US, as well as the challenges of traveling. It is very easy to talk to him. He is very pleasant and helpful.

This was my first lesson with Damien, but he made it really easy and we got to laugh a lot at my very, very basic French. He was also really patient because my Italian language kept slipping in when I couldn't think of something in French and he was so patient with that. I highly recommend him and am planning on booking a sequence of lessons with him next.

I had a great conversational lesson with Damien. We talked about our shared interests and the future of AI. He was easy to talk to and helpful when I couldn't put my thoughts into words.

Damien is a fantastic teacher, and what I appreciate most at this moment is his willingness to provide additional support in Google Docs with shared document with notes from the class as well as the homework assignments. Plus I really like his sense of humour. It always makes each lesson feel like a lot of fun as well as very informative and helpful.

I had lesson where we worked on a video document. My level is around A2–B1. The lesson was amazing! We listened to the video, translated it, and discussed the questions afterwards. The teacher followed my pace the whole time and was very supportive whenever I needed help. Everything was explained clearly, so I never felt lost. I’m really happy with how the lesson went - it was engaging, comfortable, and I finished the class with no confusion at all. Great lesson! Thanks a lot!
