My name is Pauline, I am 30 years old, and I am a native French teacher. I currently live in Paris, but I grew up far from the city in the beautiful countryside of Brittany, right by the sea. I am a history student at the Sorbonne and Paris Sciences et Lettres. I hold two degrees: one in History and one in Modern Literature. I am writing a thesis on Ancient Persia. I'm a nature lover. I love horse riding, running, and especially autonomous trekking. I'm a certified French teacher with 4 years of experience teaching in middle school as well as private tutoring for adults and kids. For me, learning a language is like a trek. You need endurance and preparation, but the view from the top is absolutely worth it, I promise. And I'm here to walk that path with you. Whether you want to master complex grammar, work on translation, discover French history, or even dive into classics like Victor Hugo or Zola, I'm fully qualified to help you. But I'm not just a teacher. I'm also a student. I'm currently learning Farsi. So I know how frustrating it can be when you can't find the right word. This experience makes me a patient teacher. My teaching philosophy is simple. A lesson is teamwork. My goal is to guide you toward autonomy. I don't just follow a generic textbook. Les cours avec Pauline sont toujours très interessants, avec des thèmes qui donnent vraiment envie de parler et de réfléchir. J'aime aussi qu'à chaque fin de séance je repars avec une belle liste d'expressions utiles. L'ambiance est chaleureuse et encourageante. C'est rare de trouver ce bel mélange de légèreté et de profondeur.

I thoroughly enjoyed the class with Pauline. She prepared an interactive presentation, which I liked. She was encouraging and enthusiastic. I like the visual aids as well. I am looking forward to continuing to take lessons with Pauline!!!
