Hola! My name is Laura and I am from Barcelona, Spain. I did my MA in London in order to become a certified language teacher and currently I am living in Berlin, Germany and I work as a professional Spanish teacher in a private school, in online platforms and at Instituto Cervantes Berlin.
In my free time I enjoy doing sport, travelling, socializing with friends, learning languages and reading. Some of my favorite topics are psychology, literature, current affairs, philosophy and mindfulness.Che tipo di insegnante sono
I am very communicative, dynamic and empathetic teacher. It is very gratifying for me to see how my students enjoy the journey of learning a new language and improve their language skills day by day. In my lessons I aim to create a relaxing space for you to learn, try the language you are learning, experience it, get feedback and clarifications from me and most important thing: have fun, see progress and keep motivated to keep on going! I will be your coach, creating a tailored learning plan for you. I also helped a lot of students to prepare and successfully pass their DELE exams, I am a official DELE examiner and grade the speaking part at Instituto Cervantes Berlin.Le mie lezioni e il mio metodo di insegnamento
My focus is communicative and task based. I work a lot on vocabulary and word combinations and I also present grammar structures in a simple, relevant way. I think each student is different and also their learning style, motivation, goals and interests. That is why I try to tailor as much as possible my lessons to your needs and interests. I aim to create a fun and relaxed space where you can feel free and calm to try and experiment the new language that you are learning. At the end of my lesson you will always get a relevant and positive feedback with new words learned, corrections and notes. I am looking forward to meeting you in my lesson! It was my first group lesson and I enjoyed it a lot. Laura prepared a game that was perfect for my/our level and -- as always -- she gave excellent feedback and word lists after the class. I'm looking forward to the next opportunity for a group lesson!

I just had my first Catalan lesson with Laura and was very positively impressed. She encouraged me to start speaking Catalan, which was both exciting and motivating. Laura explained her teaching methods clearly, and I feel confident that her approach will help me progress. She is calm, patient, and attentive, creating a comfortable learning environment. I also appreciated how she corrected my mistakes in a kind and constructive way. I’m really looking forward to learning more from her!

I highly recommend Laura as a Catalan tutor. I’ve been really happy with the lessons so far. She listens attentively, which I believe is one of the most important qualities in a teacher, and she provides thoughtful feedback on my skills and pronunciation, which I truly appreciate. She also took the time to find a textbook that perfectly suits my needs, and I really enjoy working with the material she selected. She is always well-prepared, patient, and supportive, creating a positive and encouraging learning environment. I’m excited to continue my journey of learning Catalan with her!
