Very good experience. Helps me remember Japanese, conducts the lesson as much as possible in Japanese and points out the Mandarin equivalent where possible.
The teacher prepares materials in advance that are appropriate for the level and for the purpose of the learning. Overall really strong recommendation, especially if you already have some Chinese knowledge as the teacher provides equivalent Chinese constructions where appropriate.

Having Crystal as my Chinese teacher for the past two years has been such a treat! Her love for the language and teaching really shines through, making each lesson a joy to attend. What I love most about Crystal's way of teaching is how she brings in elements of my own hobbies and life into our lessons. It's like I'm learning Chinese through my own stories! I also learned a lot of interesting facts and stories relating to Chinese culture. And Crystal has got this knack for making tricky parts of the language feel easy and I've come so far thanks to her. Wow Crystal has a very fine ear and a great method for improving pronunciation. She’s the most amazing teacher I’ve found for improving Mandarin pronunciation, and clearly enjoys the musicality of Chinese. As a language professional (interpreter/translator l/teacher) she also has a great sense for language and language learning in particular.

My Chinese teacher, Crystal is so wonderful in teaching me the various good tips to improve my Chinese more effectively, clearly, and even more timely to learn. Actually I have just spent one year sharp to have her Chinese lessons from last year, and I can feel that my Chinese capabilities have been much improved now during this one year, and I really hope that I will be able to be further leveled up for coming years together with Crystal’s excellent guidance for my Chinese lessons.
