Classes with Alfonso are excellent. He puts a lot of effort into customizing the lessons. His attention to detail in pronunciation, tone, and timing when speaking have really helped me and the voice acting has been a fun way to learn.

Alfonso me ayudó muchísimo en mi preparación para el examen Dele. Durante las clases practicamos y hicimos diferentes tareas para desarrollar mi expresión oral. Alfonso es una persona amable, alegre y divertida. Siempre está dispuesto a ayudarte con todo lo posible. Gracias a su trabajo me sentí bastante bien, o sea, me sentí más segura. I have been taking classes with Alfonso regularly over the last 8 months, in which we managed to finish 2 course books, covering the whole B2 level. Thanks to the this intensive course, I not only feel more confident speaking Spanish, but I have also gained a lot of knowledge about the Spanish language and culture. Alfonso is a very talented teacher with a lot of experience. He curates his courses using the best available course books beside his own materials. The workflow seems so smooth and natural that the classes almost feel like a casual conversation with a friend. Overall, the courses with Alfonso are very professional, enjoyable and informative.

I always enjoy meeting Alfonso to chat for an hour. Today we talked about a variety of topics, from my interest in film photography, to a few minutes about wildfires in Spain and in the Western US. Alfonso also spent some time teaching me some helpful vocabulary words for conversation. My Spanish has improved significantly over the past year, thanks in large part to Alfonso.

It is always a pleasure to meet with Alfonso. We will have a casual conversation in Spanish (of course!) covering various topics that interest us. Sometimes we talk about the past week, describing a trip or a particular restaurant. Other times we might talk about photography or the news. Now and then Alfonso will correct my Spanish or help me with vocabulary. It’s an enjoyable conversation, and I always learn something.
