Mel✨

My friend Danny and I have been taking lessons with Mel-san for a over year now. She is an amazing teacher!!!!! She is always incredibly patient and kind no matter how many mistakes we make. Whenever our studies falter when life gets busy, she is always so understanding and willing to work at any pace. Mel-san will also teach native Japanese grammar or phrases that the textbooks can be outdated on. She is good at creating a fun, but productive environment for learning. We've loved classes with Mel-san!!!!

I have been taking Japanese lessons with Mel-sensei for about a year and a half, and I would never have made the progress I have without her patient and kind help. She's a wonderful teacher and a kind and patient person, and I recommend her highly!

Mel 先生 is a really patient and wonderful teacher. Her emphasis on conversational skills has been tremendously helpful in training my brain to become more comfortable and better at using what I’ve learned. Her pacing is also great; I never feel rushed to move past points that I haven’t quite grasped yet. Thank you for another great lesson!

I had another great lesson with Mel. We practiced conversation, and discussed some material from Quartet. Mel wrote a Google document as we went so I can revise new things I learned.

I had a great first lesson with Mel. We practiced conversation, and she wrote a Google document of all the phrases I struggled with, for later study. Mel kept the conversation going at a level that was easy for me to understand, but still challenged me.

I have been taking lessons with Melさん for a while now and it's always alot of fun. She's a great teacher and easy to talk to. I'm looking forward to our next lesson
