Hello! My name is Marina. I was born and raised in Russia. I’ve been teaching English for 13 years, and I’m absolutely in love with it! Since I remember, I've always been interested in learning languages and meeting new people. Learning a new language might be so inspiring and encouraging to open your mind to the world. That is why I would love to help you with both the English and Russian languages. I want to be that teacher who is a guide, a friend who can open students up and show how amazing it can be, speaking a different language and achieving any goal they have.

My main teaching purpose is to provide you with a safe environment where you can make mistakes and learn and develop all the skills to communicate effectively and achieve your goals. I am supportive, and I like the idea of using positive reinforcement. It’s a great tool to motivate you and help see your results, even small ones. Because sometimes we’re too focused on the final goal, we don’t see all the work we’ve done. I believe that every aspect of the language is important, so we will talk about anything you are interested in, practice reading and writing, watch interviews and different videos, and listen to music. It will help you gain confidence, enrich your vocabulary, memorize grammar patterns and improve your listening skills. Our main goal is to enjoy the language and become fluent and accurate.
