I'm passionate about teaching Portuguese! As a patient and friendly teacher, I'm excited to assist you on your journey to fluency. Whether you want to practice conversation, improve pronunciation, polish grammar, or expand your vocabulary, I've got you covered.
Originally from Alagoas, a state known for its stunning beaches, I now reside in Rio Grande do Sul, Southern Brazil. Besides Portuguese, we also speak Hunsrik (a German dialect), Talian (an Italian dialect), and Kaingang.
Beyond teaching, I like studying languages, reading, watching movies, and listening to music. Teaching is a vital part of my life. In addition to teaching Portuguese, I participate in voluntary educational services.Che tipo di insegnante sono
Since childhood, I've been passionate about studying languages. That's why I not only dedicated myself to learning them but also pursued qualifications to teach. With over 7 years of experience as both an online and in-person teacher, I've had the joy of working with people of all ages and levels. Our main focus will be on conversation since practice is key to fluency. In each class, we can choose one or more topics—such as technology, travel, hobbies, or culture—and engage in meaningful conversations to enhance your speaking skills. Vinicius is easily the best teacher I've ever met on Italki. He made everything so easy to understand!! His methodology is flawless, he has a friendly personality, and he's an expert at what he does. Wow! Best Portuguese teacher I've tried on italki! He has a deep understanding of Portuguese linguistics and did a great job "diagnosing" the areas where I can improve. At the same time, he was very kind, positive, and encouraging. If I could give ten stars for Vinícius, I would!

After 100+ lessons with Vinícius, I have enjoyed every class with him. He is patient and supportive when learning new grammar and pronunciation. Every lesson is fun, and I leave each lesson with new vocabulary to study. I recommend having a lesson with Vinícius!

Viní is a friendly and encouraging teacher. We worked on the pronunciation of the lyrics of a Brazilian song, and how to talk about hobbies in Portuguese. It was fun and very helpful.
