I have been teaching since 1980! I taught international students at INTO University of East Anglia and currently teach for the British Council Online platform.
I lived in Malaysia for about 5 years and have a great interest in Chinese traditional culture. I particularly enjoy the classic stories such as Journey to the West (西遊記). I also love the stories of Jin Yong. My dream is to be able to retire and live in Malaysia once again.Che tipo di insegnante sono
Please note I only work with adults. I mainly work with professional adults who are improving their English as part of upgrading their careers, or with people taking the IELTS exam for academic, work, and immigration purposes (so both Academic and General IELTS). I also have quite a bit of experience helping academics proofread their papers in English.
IELTS note: On this platform, I can help with speaking and writing. If you would like your writing assessed then have it ready as a Word document with the question and answer together and ready to send me via skype. I offer two kinds of lesson:
1. Conversation & Communication - we talk about topics we are both interested in ( Ted talks are a good choice) and I will help you build your fluency, vocabulary, and confidence in speaking by developing your ideas and how you talk about them. Good for people using English in a global company.
2. Writing- I will screenshare and live edit with you during the class. This is good for both academic papers and IELTS. Please have your writing in Word format ready to send to me via Skype.Il mio materiale didattico
