Hello! My name is Robert. I'm originally from Texas but I live in Mexico at the moment. I've been a teacher for over 20 years now, eventhough I'm new here on Italki. I have taught many different nationalities from all over the world. I have extensive experience teaching IELTS, TOEFL, and Business courses. I also speak Spanish, French, Portuguese, Indonesian and I am learning Greek and German. If you would like to book a class outside of my availability, please write me. Most of the time, we can find a time.
Most of my students come to me because they want to improve their speaking skills, so this is where I focus most of the time. We spend time on pronunciation and accuracy. I think most of my students would say that I am patient and I have a good sense of humor. If you would like to book a class outside of my availability, please write me. Most of our lesson is focused on speaking and pronunciation, but if you need grammar... we can do that too!! Very calm and supportive teacher. English makes me feel anxious, but he helps me feel comfortable speaking. He is patient and corrects mistakes in a very kind and strategic way. He also uses materials that match my level. After just two classes, I already feel more confident and motivated to continue the learning process.
