My name is Yasar Arafath and I am from Kerala. I am a Malayalam teacher in italki since Aug 01, 2016.
I teach my native language Malayalam.
I have a passion for languages and different cultures and enjoy interacting with people of all kinds of backgrounds.
I have met and taught students of all age groups and from all around the globe and many of them, I am happy to call (now) my friends.

I began my career as a school teacher in 2015. I teach Mathematics in school and Malayalam in italki. I have done my teacher's training course(B.Ed.) from the University of Calicut.
I am an experienced and patient teacher and I adapt my teaching methods according to your abilities and individual needs in order to ensure that you gain the most value from our lessons. My lessons are well planed and well structured. I am very good at using different kind of teaching tools and technology to make my lessons better.
I pay special attention to pronunciation, the introduction of new vocabulary and the use of proverbs and sayings.
Depending on your individual wishes, I am happy to prepare study materials and assignments as long as you let me know ahead of time.

I just had my trial lesson with Yasar, and I had a great first impression about him.
He was very friendly, yet professional in his approach to teaching, and I really appreciated the fact that he had his own teaching materials and course guidelines.
I'm definitely going to continue to get lessons from Yasar.

Yasar is patient and willing to adapt to my needs and learning styles without any issue. He has great material to share and also very easy to do natural conversation practice with. Highly recommend.

Another excellent lesson with Yasar! I had to take a break due to illness and he was very understanding. I leave each lesson feeling knowledgeable and prepared to study the topics he has presented.
