M.A Degree in TESOL with over 10 years of Experience With a Master’s in Education and over a decade of teaching, I help students excel in academic writing and American pronunciation—my two specialties. My experience as a research analyst means I make even the toughest topics clear and approachable, whether you’re just starting or aiming for advanced fluency. Beyond the classroom, I love exploring classic literature and grooving to 1960s jazz. Living in Mexico has given me a deep appreciation for language learners’ challenges, so I bring patience, empathy, and adaptability to every lesson. When I was about 10 years old, my teacher asked me to help some of the other students who were struggling with their reading. I would sit with them one-on-one or sometimes she would have me read the assignment into a tape recorder so the students could follow along with my voice as they read the assignment. Figuring out ways to help others understand new concepts brings me a lot of joy. I believe in tailoring lessons to the students' specific needs and learning styles. I work with students to develop customized lesson plans to help them meet their individual goals. I am very patient and adaptable and use a wide variety of tools and materials based on each student's individual needs. I also believe that learning should be fun!
