I'm Alexander, pleased to meet you all! I'm half British, half Italian (I was born in the UK but I've always lived in Italy) and I'm very lucky to be fluent in both languages. In addition to having CAE (Cambridge Advanced English) and TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certificates, I have been teaching English and Italian online since 2017 and have gained a great deal of experience. Moreover, I have experience teaching English here in Sicily privately and from time to time I work as a translator.
Oltre ad avere i certificati CAE (Cambridge Advanced English) e TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language), ho acquisito molta esperienza insegnando Inglese e Italiano online dal 2017 fino ad oggi. My lessons mainly focus on conversation, as I truly believe that's the best way to learn a language, and our conversations can be about anything you want. Grammar is also important so I'll do my best to help you with it should it be necessary. I can also help you with your homework if needed.

Alexander is an engaging, friendly, and informative teacher and I am very much enjoying my Italian lessons with him. He creates a comfortable environment to practice speaking in and is very patient with beginners! It is invaluable to have experience speaking about daily topics with a native speaker, and I would highly recommend Alexander to any students wishing to hone their Italian conversation skills.

Another GREAT lesson with Alessandro today! He helped me practice some dialogues in the form of "role play" in preparation for an upcoming trip to Italy and I feel so much more confident now about everyday scenarios like ordering icecream and coffee!
