Hi, everyone! I'm Brittany, and I want to welcome you to “Theatre & English”. I’m an actor, writer, and director from the United States, but I grew up in Japan and Germany, and I love using theatre and film to connect with people around the world.
In my free time, you can find me exercising, having rap battles with my nephews, learning new songs on my violin, watching a great movie or TV series, and practicing my German language skills.Che tipo di insegnante sono
Connecting with my students on a personal level is important to me. I am VERY bubbly and have A LOT of energy, so I hope that you will also bring your enthusiasm, your energy, and your positivity to every class :) Here are a few things you should know before you schedule your first lesson:
😀 STUDENTS: My lessons are designed for ADULTS in levels B1-C2.
🎭 MATERIALS: All materials will be provided to you through Google Drive.
🗓️ SCHEDULE: I am only available on the days and times I have listed on my calendar.
🚫 CLASSROOM POLICIES: If you miss a class, or if you cancel a lesson in less than 24 hours before your lesson begins, you will still be charged full payment for the lesson. Le mie lezioni e il mio metodo di insegnamento
BEGINNING
I always begin our lessons with, "How are you? How was your week/weekend?" Feel free to bring videos or photos to share what you've been up to!
MIDDLE
Then, we'll dive into the main focus of our lesson: a scene or monologue, poem or short story, a creative writing assignment, or a super fun conversation!
All students have a private folder on the Google Drive. This is where we'll keep track of our lessons, and where I will add personalized materials for you.
END

Our initial session with Brittanie zoomed by! She skillfully structured the lesson, starting with a delightful questionnaire and diving into discussions about challenges and goals. The class provided ample opportunities for speaking, reading, and self-expression. Brittanie's assistance was outstanding, offering considerate and positive feedback. Post-class, she sent a follow-up summarizing crucial points and proposing a plan for our next engaging lesson—I'm eagerly anticipating it!

Brittany is, simply speaking, she is the best.
I had to urgently boost my American accent skills for the English speaking project in Germany, and with just an hour online session with her, not only I developed my understanding of the accent, but also I gained my confidence. She knows exactly what my tongue is doing, and exactly how I need to change it. What a fantastic coach! Can't recommend her enough. Thank you, Brittany!

It was my first class with Brittany, and it was so much fun! Her energy and positive attitude definitely rubbed off on me, so this class was completely stress-free. That's what learning English should be like:)!
