Katya Antonova

I am impressed with Katya's teaching style. Though her teaching style may vary with different individuals, in our lessons, she speaks ONLY in Russian and tries to get me to respond in Russian. When I don't know how to say something, she types it out in the Google Doc. This is the active approach. For the passive approach, Katya is a GREAT conversationalist. I enjoy listening to her speak because she can make a simple topic very interesting. There is always something to talk about. If you want to learn Russian and practice your conversation skills, take a lesson with her!

На первом же уроке Катя избавила меня от страха заниматься с преподавателем! Урок прошёл спокойно, непринуждённо и интересно. Чувствую себя поувереннее и полным энтузиазма, это ровно то, чего мне не хватало. Спасибо большое!

Katya is an excellent teacher, and learning English with her is truly a pleasure. She provides engaging materials tailored to your current goals and needs, and it’s especially great to practice speaking with her, since you can always discuss a wide variety of topics in English. The lessons are very comfortable and have a positive atmosphere, and Katya herself is an open, pleasant person who presents the material clearly and explains things that were previously unknown or difficult to understand. I highly recommend studying with her!

Having taken many lessons with Katya, I can confidently say that she is consistent, knowledgeable, patient, and willing to adapt her teaching style to my needs as a student. She has worked with me from learning Cyrillic in my first lesson, to being able to have various conversations primarily in Russian. I highly recommend her as a teacher, and am confident that if you are a good student you will succeed.

May use again yet I think she's likely more traditionally structured for what I need. She provides a useful additions. Nice girl good English. I’m after a less concrete foundation (i would choose her for a child, traditionally structured)
