Zsolt is really nice teacher! When I chose tutor on italki I did really exhaustive analyses: I analyzed 53 profiles of all teachers who teach Hungarian. Created a big file in Google doc where I described my opinion, compared prices, practices which people mentioned in the profile video and how I would feel if I will learn language with this person. I sorted this list by priority and started meet with teachers. But with Zsolt was perfect match from first lesson, and I stopped the search. Let me describe why: -In video he mentioned that teach grammar differently, that’s true, he describe very logical and for me as software engineer were easier to catch it. -Every lesson we speak, even on first lesson we started speaking. I wasn’t absolutely zero, but really struggled with grammar and didn't speak Hungarian. Now we had 29 lessons, and result is super, I can speak with simple constructions and can express myself. Thank you Zsolt, it’s nice to learn language with you!

This is my fifth lesson. I was not intending to learn the language, just learn about it, but Zsolt has me hooked. Lessons are very structured with a logical progression, a solid technique for early sentence construction, and endless homework opportunities. Zsolt will make corrections to homework promptly, in between classes, and sends along as much homework as one desires. I highly recommend this teacher who focuses on listening, reading, writing, and speaking from day one.

Zsolt is a very effective teacher for the Hungarian simplified naturalization interview. Even though I’ve been studying Hungarian for about nine months (at a language school and with other teachers), I’ve found that he has tons of helpful suggestions and tricks for navigating the interview itself.

Zsolt is a phenomenal teacher. He has a very structured approach tailored to your learning goals and doesn't waste time with more complex grammar structures. His focus is on helping you learn how to communicate effectively. He also has a great balance of being diligent with pushing you to speak in Hungarian but he's patient and willing to teach.

Zsolt is like a personal trainer that meets you at the gym at 5am. He makes you speak Hungarian almost against your will, like he's spotting you going for your max weight on the bench press. He's not going to lift the weight for you unless it's clear you're about to drop the entire bar on yourself. In the end, you're going to end up stronger and more capable in less time, but it comes with a certain amount of discomfort!

Zsolt made it feel like learning what is necessary for my interview as something actually logical and doable in a much shorter timeframe than I feared it would be.
