👋Hello,I'm YU from Taiwan,it’s great to meet you!
I'm a native Chinese speaker and a certified teacher with a degree in “Teaching Chinese as a Second Language”. I’ve taught Chinese online for more than 4 years and have students from all over the world. I love learning languages and to know a people from different countries. When I teach, I learn from students as well so I hope that you will make leaps and bounds when it comes to your progress as we both learn from one another!

During teaching, I mostly focus on speaking , because the speaking is the most important of learning a foreign language. The learning materials to use and lesson style is different for each student, based on your preference or what would work best for you. I normally don't write reviews, but just wanted to say that I highly recommend taking classes with Yu! I have been a student for nearly two years and my Chinese has improved a lot! Yu continuously helps me with pronunciation, improving my speaking and reading skills, all while having a fun learning environment with the right amount of challenges to help me grow my skills.

I told Yu that I need to work on my pronunciation. She consistently points out issues with my tones. I also appreciated when she asked if I want to be corrected immediately or not.
