Hi, I’m Ren! :) I was born in Israel but now live in the Netherlands, where I’m doing a Master's in International Relations. In my free time, I enjoy reading, learning new languages, traveling, and helping students achieve their language goals. My name is Ren and I’ve been teaching languages for more than 3 years. My lessons mainly focus on improving conversational skills (listening and speaking), but we can also read, watch videos together, or use a textbook if that’s your preference!
Having learned a few languages myself, I know how challenging it can be to pick up a new one. That’s why I aim to create a relaxed and supportive atmosphere where you feel comfortable speaking as much as possible without worrying about making mistakes. Le mie lezioni e il mio metodo di insegnamento
I start each lesson by asking about your goal for the day and what you’d like to focus on. Whether it’s reading a fun article, having a casual conversation, or watching a challenging video, I’m happy to adjust to your preferences.
At the end of each lesson, I’ll provide you with a document summarizing what we covered. If you have specific needs or requests, feel free to message me before the lesson!

I've taken A LOT of lessons on italki in a half dozen different languages, and Ren's are hands down one of the best. She is a really natural teacher: she keeps you in the target language even when you try to switch to English; she encourages you or gives you hints, rather than just giving you the definition; and there's something about the way she speaks Hebrew -- it's *really* comprehensible even though it doesn't sound like she's speaking slowly or unnaturally. AND she provides a document at the end of the lesson with any new vocabulary or anything you were struggling with. Looking for an outstanding Hebrew teacher, you found it!

Ren is patient and polite. I appreciate that she would repeat things we had previously discussed so I could practice new words. She also gives good advice for learning.
