My name is Grayson Hale and I am an educator from South Africa. With about six years of teaching experience, I could still be considered to be relatively new to the profession. Since obtaining my CELTA certificate in 2014, I have taught English as an Additional Language (EAL) to students in South Africa, South Korea, and China. I have since acquired my Master’s in Education and been teaching in an international class for the past three years. During this time, my experiences have been invaluable. As part of my duties, I have planned and taught lessons, written detailed assessments in the form of observations and reports, maintained class documentation and records, planned and delivered school performances, and participated in collaborative planning and meetings. I believe that differentiated instruction is an incredibly important part of any learning environment. I have taught an inquiry-based curriculum to young learners (2 to 4 years old), and have used the teaching methodologies and techniques from the CELTA course when teaching adults. Grayson is a very good teacher. He takes care very professionally of my kids preparing lessons in advance. Very friendly and polite also, they now like to do english lessons !
