Hi everyone!
I am so happy to be on Italki. It is a great platform to meet people from all around the world.
I have been to so many different places in the world. Japan, Philippines, Thailand, India, Maldives, Malaysia, Indonesia, UAE, Australia, most of the European countries, US, Argentina, Brazil, Russia, Kenya, Uganda, South Africa and many more...I love to meet people from different countries and learn about their cultures and lifestyles...
I love doing yoga asanas, meditations, exercising, walking, cooking, reading and teaching.
Health, fitness, nutrition and wellbeing are the things that I am really interested in. I also like to talk about sports, films, documentaries, etc.Che tipo di insegnante sono
As a teacher my biggest motivation is to see my students progress and meanwhile enjoy the process, as well as teacher-student communication. Meeting new people and learning from them about life and other things also keeps me motivated.
I studied English linguistics as a bachelor degree and I also got a certificate for teaching English. I lived abroad in the UK, UAE and Greece. This helped to improve my English language skills a lot.
I teach English and as well as Turkish. I have been teaching English as a private tutor some years now. And I enjoy doing it very much, especially online at Italki, where you can find a great and supportive community.Le mie lezioni e il mio metodo di insegnamento
When teaching English, my focus is on communication mainly. I emphasise on correct pronunciation, correcting grammatical mistakes and simplifying elaborate sentences into simple ones, so your English can become more fluent and easy to understand.
I like to have students from all age groups, anyone from children to elderly...And from all walks of life...
When teaching Turkish, I either use a book or focus on communicational skills, depending on the preference and level of my student.
My aim is to make you feel more and more confident everyday, when conversing in the foreign language you study with me.

Very curious, kind and positive teacher. She has extensive experience teaching English, corrects my pronunciation and helps me to learn new words.
We had many lessons and discussed interesting and useful topics. She became a good friend for me and I am waiting for our next conversation

Thanks a lot for teaching! Talking with Başak not only improves my language expression skills and makes me more confident in English; I also learn more new things. At the same time, she has a gentle and kind personality. I can feel her deep concern for students and kindness towards life. Nice teacher and nice teaching methods!

Stella was a great help! She took the time to customize a lesson to suit the requirements of my project. Her knowledge and preparedness were such that she gave me far more information and help than I expected to receive. An excellent teacher and resource. Patient, good-humored, precise and accommodating.
