Hi! I am a bilingual whose native languages are Kurdish and Turkish.
I graduated and worked as an engineer for several years but my passion for human interaction brought me to the field of teaching. However I always carry that analytical, systematic, disciplined, solution-oriented problem solver in me ;) 🤓
I come from a culture and a family for whom music is a form of daily spiritual practice and I play bağlama/tembûr and I sing. 🪕
Photography has always caught my interest, once I look through the lense, time stops for me. 📷
So far I've traveled to US, UK, Mexico, Colombia, Panama, Japan, Thailand, Malaysia, Lebanon, Georgia, Germany, Holland, Austria, Greece, Italy and Spain.Che tipo di insegnante sono

Knowing that everyone is unique I have been designing engaging lessons based on; a) personal learning styles and b)personal necessities.
Education is an area that allows me to incorporate;
my values—to serve, to care, to improve, to create, to try the new, and to share.
my talents—teaching, empowering, creativity, and inspiring.
As a teacher what makes me unique is that I am very patient, compassionate, trusting and creative. I always push students out of their comfort zone towards their full potential. Le mie lezioni e il mio metodo di insegnamento
1) Through written and oral exam, understanding the level (Unless they are absolute beginners)
2) Set the tone for the course, make it clear that it takes effort, discipline and patience, again make it clear that it's the student 'who is supposed to talk' and it should be done 'in the language they are learning'
3) Pre-work before every class, homework after every class. Review at the end of every lesson and repetition in the beginning of the following lesson
4) Random vocabulary tests (puzzles, games or direc review) in every lesson
5) a) I decide a topic that interests the learner, build the necessary gramer around it along with questions, intense speaking practice.Il mio materiale didattico

Exceptionally good lesson. Delal used expressions from the article we were discussing, for me to use them in sentences. As I would not normally speak the way she first suggested , together we adapted the material for sentences I would use in conversation. I appreciated her flexibility. And noticed a lot of mistakes I was making! Very useful lesson. And interesting subject matter.
Delal doesn’t give me lesson plans, as she lets me decide what I want to talk about and uses the material I choose and (some of!) the mistakes I make as teaching material. Though this time she gave me some homework: to learn to conjugate a verb I kept getting wrong within the lesson!

I enjoyed the lesson very much. I am a Persian teacher myself and Delal classes are very attractive to me: calming, planned and fun like a spiritual and happy dance. I am happy that my students do not learn Turkish and do not compare me with him as a teacher.
