Great lesson - Teacher Vicky really got me to practice sentence structures in a way which helped me to understand. I could learn most effectively in a short period of time. This is the difference between a good teacher and a great teacher!

Had another great lesson with Vicky老师！I really like the way she structures a lesson. She is very well prepared and a very good teacher!! I like working with powerpoint, then we can do a lot of different things - look at pictures, read text or do tasks. It makes it a vert fun lesson. I feel like I speak a lot in the lesson. I never feel shy speaking, she is so supportive and cheer me on when I say the right thing. Looking forward to the next lesson with you. 谢谢老师 :)

In our first class, she gave me an overview of the lesson format, which I had a positive impression of. Then, we had our lesson, which was a mix of vocabulary, grammar, dialogue, reading, comprehension, and Q&A. She uses a main textbook and supplemental textbook, as well as a separate note sheet. She was patient and friendly. I enjoyed our lesson and would book another. 고맙습니다 ~!

Our second lesson was also good. We used a textbook and moved around based on how I did and where I needed more or less practice, which was good. The lesson was very active, which gave me lots of practice. There was lots of Q&A, reading practice, dialogue/roleplay practice, and other exercises. She also explains nuances and details to things and keeps a note sheet for me with new words or grammar patterns. 谢谢您！

I have had Vicky as my Chinese teacher for the past few years, and I truly believe she is one of the best teachers on iTalki. She is incredibly consistent with her materials, and her lessons are always well-structured and clear. I have learned so much from her classes, and my confidence in Chinese has grown steadily over time. She is a fantastic teacher, and I highly recommend her.
