My name is Ken, and I'm an American English speaker. I was born in Taiwan, and I moved to the US when I was 10 years old. I learned English in American classrooms, one word at a time. I know how you feel. I went through the exact same process that you're going through now. It's a frustrating process, but the rewards are worth the effort. I started my career as an auditor at Ernst & Young in San Francisco before becoming an accounting manager at a $2 billion hedge fund. I then became a Director of Operations for a $10 billion registered investment advisor. My last job was as a Principal at an investment firm in Los Angeles. I'm also a writer, editor, and business consultant.

I'm a TEFL certified Business English teacher. I really enjoy teaching. Nothing makes me happier than seeing my students improve over time. I am a serious teacher, but I'm also fair. My job is to help you improve above all else, and my goal is to make you feel comfortable speaking English to anyone outside the classroom. Whether you're looking to reduce your accent or simply want to have an engaging conversation in social or business settings, I invite you to join me in my classroom.

I mainly use Skype and Zoom. I am happy to use WeChat, or LINE as well. Each of you is unique, and I will tailor each lesson according to your needs. Please be prepared to answer a few questions about yourself during the first lesson so that I can help you achieve your goals faster. - What is your background? - Why are you learning English? - What do you hope to achieve from our session together? PLEASE NOTE: Lessons will be 25, 40, or 55 minutes long.

I'm glad to have the class with Ken who provided business english. Work idioms and business articles are both excellent, he can point out my mistakes and give me a suggestion to further improve my English. He is well prepared and experienced. I really enjoyed it.
