Yuri Tezuka

I love my lessons with Yuri-san. She's really good at explaining Japanese grammar, even when it's super confusing. You can tell she works hard to find the best way to make things clear. Yuri-san is an incredible teacher, no doubt about it. And the best part today? The chit chat we have! Today, we talked about typhoons. It's awesome to share stories and discover new things about each other's cultures. Our lessons are always a good time! Thank you Yuri-san!

Yuri-san is a great teacher. I enjoy her lessons very much and I feel that we have a good rapport and can talk about anything. Yuri-san is also understanding when I make mistakes and helps me to build my confidence in learning and speaking Japanese. 今回のテーマは「日本語の学習で悩んでいること」と「好きな日本料理」でした。母国語で文法を学ぶことの限界や、教科書では学べない自然な表現について話し合いました。私の場合、文法書を読むだけでは知識がなかなか定着せず、特に「ば」と「たら」の使い分けは語感に頼って判断している部分があります。その理由を明確に理解できていない点が課題だと感じています。

I always enjoy my lessons with Yuri-san, she can be quite flexible with the class. For example, today she allowed me to talk a lot, thus doing a lot of conversation practice, rather than learning new grammar. I appreciated this a lot as I need a lot of practice before my upcoming trip. いつも、どうもありがとうございます！

Yuri-San is a very nice person and teacher. She understands my learning goal and her teaching method is perfect for me to reach the level that I need. Let's continue practicing together! よろしく お願いします

今日は舞台リハーサルを中心にして、先週の活動を過去形で表現する練習を行いました。事前に単語を調べて準備していたものの、急に必要になった専門用語が多く、会話の難易度が上がりました。表現に詰まる場面もありましたが、先生は英語と中国語を理解されるので、どうしても分からない言葉は他の言語で補足説明できました。
