Hi there! My name is Drew and I am from North Carolina in the United States. I like to play video games and watch scary movies when I have free time. And I also have a passion for teaching and can help you improve your English!
In university I studied English linguistics and Japanese so I know the struggle of learning a foreign language. It wasn’t until I studied in Japan that I realized that the best way to improve your language skills was by talking to native speakers.Che tipo di insegnante sono
After I graduated university, I moved to Japan and taught English for 6 years and during that time I met and taught many different types of students. I taught business professionals, university students, school kids, and even the elderly! So I know how to adapt my lessons to fit the needs and level of the students in my class.
I also used to teach at a local international school in Boston, MA. The students came from many different countries from around the world, including Spain, France, Vietnam, Saudi Arabia, Vietnam, Japan, and others. I always like to have fun conversations and can talk about any topic you like. I like playing games and watching movies but I am also interested in news, other cultures, linguistics, history, and more!

During my time at the TEFLEN Training College I studied how to teach lessons to different learners and the best practices to implement into lessons to make them engaging and informative. We always have great lessons. We have structured lesson today. Drew send me an article and we talked about it. We were able to expand the conversation from the article and have a fu discussion. And it’s always very helpful in broadening my way of thinking and way to see diverse things. It’s definitely good for me. Next week will be a free conversation. I’m looking forward to having it. Today’s lesson was really fun, too. We talked about several nowadays topics. One of them was about my first Apple Watch. This kind of topic is told very often in usual conversations. But we don’t know terms about those, seemingly ordinary topics. It was very useful and fun to know. Rest of the topics were also interesting and on going ones. Thank , Drew. See you next week!

Drew’s lesson is always interesting. He show me phrases or words which were suitable to express my thoughts and situations, during i talked. It is great. Also we share our ideas and thoughts. That widens my knowledge and perspective. One of the good sentences he taught me today is “Everything in moderation “. The next lesson will be a structured lesson. I’m looking forward to having it.
