I have completed Japanese Language Teacher Training Course (420 hours and above) in 2021 and I've been teaching Japanese on italki for 3 years.Le mie lezioni e il mio metodo di insegnamento

I have two types of lessons.
The first one are lessons using textbooks. Here, we will use Irodori published by The Japan Foundation. They are for beginner to intermediate levels that focus on developing communication skills in Japanese as well as cross-cultural skills.

For the second lesson, it would be a conversion practice.

When I started learning with Miho-san, I had been self-studying kanji and vocabulary for about a year, but was having trouble learning and retaining grammar structures. Miho-san has helped a ton, providing structured grammar lessons and lots of opportunities to practice them in conversation. She’s a very patient and easygoing teacher, which helps me feel less self-conscious while speaking, and less afraid of making mistakes. I’d recommend Miho-san to anyone and am looking forward to working with her more in the future.

Learning a language while holding down a hectic job when you are on the wrong side of 50 is tough, and requires multiple resources and lots of patience. Perhaps the most important resource is a teacher who can help you maximise the impact of what you learn by focusing on practical vocabulary and grammar that suit your particular goals, and constantly keeps the difficulty level just a bit higher than your comfort level. Miho-san is precisely that kind of teacher. Bonus: She's super nice and a genuinely interested conversationalist!

J'ai terminé le textbook Irodori 1 en un an grâce à la patience et la clarté des explications de Miho-san qui s'adapte toujours à mes besoins et répond à mes questions. De plus, tous les documents de cours sont parfaits pour réviser, encore une fois personnalisés en fonction de nos leçons. Merci !
Merci également pour les free talks et cette bonne humeur et gentillesse permanente. C'est un vrai plaisir de faire du japonais toutes les semaines !

I am about 10 lessons in with Miho sensei and I have really enjoyed it! I like the casual chatting practice before we start lessons. She is a very supportive teacher! I highly recommend her. I plan to continue many more lessons with her. :)

Miho先生 works hard to make lessons interesting beyond the book content! She won’t overwhelm you, but if you want to learn more she incorporates more vocabulary and other relevant facts and explanations. I also like the practicality of the textbook she uses a lot. I am looking forward to continuing lessons with her :) みほ先生、ありがとうございます (^-^)
